The ACS NCCRT conducted extensive market research to better understand and address screening disparities in Black and African American Communities. This course shares significant findings from this market research and further recommends how to educate, empower, and mobilize those who are not getting screened for colorectal cancer.

Our efforts to improve colorectal cancer screening will be strengthened not only by understanding national data and trends, but by better defining the perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors of unscreened individuals.
In taking this course, partners will be able to use this research as well as the recommended messaging to strengthen colorectal cancer screening efforts and create communications campaigns that better resonate with unscreened individuals and priority populations.
